My Advice to New Bloggers

Hey lovelies!! For todays post i decided to put out some advice for anyone who wants to start a blog!! This is a post i've always wanted to write but since i'm a new blogger myself i wasn't sure when would've been the perfect time to write it. As a new blogger i am currently and always learning new things about the blogging life every day, but here are a few tips for starting up one.

1. Be consistent

Yes, be consistent. As a new blogger like me, i am also struggling with being consistent but with everything that i have noticed through other bloggers, it really does pay off. People will notice that you are committed to what you are doing and will be intrigued to come back for more, trusting that you will be there to deliver a post.

2. Quality over Quantity

This one is definitely a really big one. I cannot stress enough how much it means to have quality posts. Even though you want to be consistent and give your readers a lot of content, you won't have any readers if you don't attract them and keep them interested with good, quality posts.

3. Be confident

i bet you are thinking, " yes, I've heard this a thousand times" well sorry to bring it up again but HONEY BE CONFIDENT. When showing off your personal style or taking pictures of your outfit of the day, you need to show off that confidence because people notice it and it will determine how they remember you.

4. Use social media

in this day and age, social media is definitely the platform in which we can easily spread information quickly. So if you wanna get more people to read your blog? post more about it on Instagram and twitter or whatever social platform you want!

5. Find inspiration

this is definitely another big one. Without the different bloggers i follow up on, admiring and watching how the blog, i wouldn't be where i am today. People think finding inspiration might think you are " copying " the person, but really there is a big difference. Two people might even be wearing the exact outfit but the can personalize it in different ways to make it their own. So, go out! find inspiration! it really does help.

6. Don't compare yourself to other bloggers

And for the last post, yes, don't compare yourself to other bloggers. Other bloggers may grow at a faster pace than you but as long as you put your mind to something and you are working on it to the best of your ability, you'll get there too.
